AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE TO MARKET AND PROMOTE NEW MEXICO WHEAT.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to support the New Mexico department of agriculture in conducting a cooperative program with the New Mexico wheat growers association to market and promote New Mexico wheat. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
