STATE OF NEW MEXICO

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN SENATE DISTRICT 31 IN DONA ANA COUNTY.

 

 

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

 

to the department of environment

 

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for a building for the Mesquite mutual domestic water consumers association in Dona Ana county;

 

• to the state highway and transportation department

 

seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($750,000) for a warning light at the turning lane on state road 273 for Riverside elementary school in the Gadsden independent school district in Dona Ana county; and

 

six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) for road improvements to Hot Peppers, Shiprock and Finley roads in the Mountain View subdivision in Chaparral in Dona Ana county; and

 

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

 

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to expand the Chaparral health clinic in Dona Ana county;

 

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for a light rail service system commuter feasibility study from Sunland Park to Las Vegas;

 

one million five hundred seventy-five dollars ($1,575,000) for the court youth center culinary arts center in Dona Ana county; and

 

fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000) for a park in the Casas Linda subdivision in Dona Ana county.
