HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 822

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY W. Ken Martinez

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN CIBOLA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

four hundred fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) to renovate the courts complex in Grants in Cibola county;

one hundred thirty thousand dollars ($130,000) to purchase vehicles for the sheriff's department in Grants in Cibola county;

one hundred fifty-five thousand dollars ($155,000) to purchase vehicles and equipment, including a salt spreader and a weed cutter, for the road department in Cibola county;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for computer technology for Cibola county; and

one million dollars ($1,000,000) to plan, design and construct a detoxification center at the county jail in Cibola county.
