STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Terry T. Marquardt

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE ALAMOGORDO PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN OTERO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state department of public education

two hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($225,000) to resurface the running track at Alamogordo high school in the Alamogordo public school district in Otero county;

six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) for athletic facilities at Mountain View middle school in the Alamogordo public school district in Otero county;

three hundred eighty thousand dollars ($380,000) to build tennis courts at Alamogordo high school in the Alamogordo public school district in Otero county; and

four million dollars ($4,000,000) to plan, design and construct a performing arts auditorium for use by students and community members in the Alamogordo public school district in Otero county.
