45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Robert M. Burpo

FOR HOUSE DISTRICT 23 CAPITAL PROJECTS IN ALBUQUERQUE IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state highway and transportation department

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to plan, design and landscape medians on Eubank boulevard from Spain road to Juan Tabo boulevard in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and

one million dollars ($1,000,000) to widen Wyoming boulevard from two lanes to four, make drainage improvements and construct the north Domingo Baca arroyo all-weather crossing facility in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to design and construct improvements to the play and nature areas, landscape and add site furniture to Barstow park in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to renovate, landscape and install an irrigation system at the Jade park play area to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

two hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($275,000) to design, construct and equip a new play area at Nor Este park in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

eight hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($825,000) to acquire land, design and construct improvements to north Domingo Baca park in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to plan, design and construct a swimming pool at north Domingo Baca park in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and

six hundred fifty thousand dollars ($650,000) to improve the play area, parking lot and turf and grass areas and to grade, irrigate, landscape and install site furniture at Quintessence park in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county.
