HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 356

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Donald L. Whitaker

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN EUNICE IN LEA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

thirty-eight thousand dollars ($38,000) to replace a sewer machine in Eunice in Lea county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to renovate the sewer plant, including construction of a new storage lagoon and final clarifier, in Eunice in Lea county; and

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to replace a water line from Hobbs well field to Eunice in Lea county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

forty thousand dollars ($40,000) to purchase a first response vehicle for the fire department in Eunice in Lea county;

one hundred seventy-four thousand dollars ($174,000) to construct a fire department substation in Eunice in Lea county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to construct a cemetery in Eunice in Lea county.
