HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 1235

REQUESTED BY Joseph M. Thompson

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE PALACE OF THE GOVERNORS IN SANTA FE IN SANTA FE COUNTY AND REPAIRS OF OFFICE OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS FACILITIES STATEWIDE.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the office of cultural affairs

eleven million five hundred thousand dollars ($11,500,000) to design, construct, furnish and equip the palace of the governors project, including eight million dollars ($8,000,000) for the annex site and three million five hundred thousand dollars ($3,500,000) for the statewide services building portion of the project in Santa Fe in Santa Fe county; and

one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) for repairs and renovations to office of cultural affairs facilities statewide.
