45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Richard D. Vigil

FOR HOUSE DISTRICT 70 CAPITAL PROJECTS IN LAS VEGAS IN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

nine hundred twenty-seven thousand five hundred dollars ($927,500) to extend the water line for the purpose of looping the main water distribution system in Las Vegas in San Miguel county; and

one million seven hundred seventy-three thousand dollars ($1,773,000) to expand the effluent line, including installation of an effluent booster pump station and distribution lines, in Las Vegas in San Miguel county;

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

six hundred thirty thousand dollars ($630,000) for improvements to comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, including improvements to the municipal court and sidewalks, in Las Vegas in San Miguel county;

three million one hundred forty-five thousand four hundred fifty dollars ($3,145,450) for phase 2 construction of the community recreation center in Las Vegas in San Miguel county; and

forty thousand dollars ($40,000) for parks and baseball field improvements for Las Vegas in San Miguel county; and

• to the office of the state engineer

six million five hundred thousand dollars ($6,500,000) to purchase water rights in the Gallinas River stream system in Las Vegas in San Miguel county.
