MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO PAY THE DUES FOR THE STATE LEGISLATURE FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF INSURANCE LEGISLATORS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten thousand dollars ($10,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to pay the dues of the legislature for membership in the national conference of insurance legislators. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
