MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FUNDING TO OPERATE THE ALCOHOL AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE DETOXIFICATION AND TREATMENT FACILITY AT THE SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO REHABILITATION CENTER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($750,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to provide funding to operate the alcohol and substance abuse detoxification and treatment facility at the southern New Mexico rehabilitation center in Roswell. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
