AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE TWENTY-FOUR HOUR A DAY SERVICES FOR ALBUQUERQUE'S HOMELESS YOUTH.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to contract for twenty-four hour a day staffing capability at the Albuquerque homeless youth drop-in center. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
