has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 20, after "CARRIERS", insert "EXCEPT WIRELESS OR COMMERCIAL MOBILE RADIO SERVICE PROVIDERS".

2. On page 1, line 23, after "carriers", insert "except wireless or commercial mobile radio service providers".

3. On page 2, strike lines 19 through 22.

"E. Nothing in this section shall limit the commission's authority pursuant to Section 63-9H-6 NMSA 1978 to require annual verification from a carrier designated by the commission as an eligible telecommunications carrier if the carrier continues to

meet the requirements for designation as an eligible telecommunications carrier."".
