MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR IMPLEMENTING AND OPERATING AN OIL AND GAS FIELD TRAINING PROGRAM AT SAN JUAN COLLEGE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the governing board of San Juan college for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 and subsequent fiscal years to implement and operate an oil and gas field training program at San Juan college that includes certification and training for well, pipeline and drilling technicians and field workers. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the general fund.
