MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE OR CONTRACT FOR SUMMER PROGRAMS FOR AT-RISK YOUTH IN THE VILLAGE OF MAXWELL.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to provide or contract for summer programs for at-risk youth in the village of Maxwell in Colfax county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
