HOUSE BILL 225



has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:



1. On page 1, line 21, after "to" insert ", Laws of 1998, Chapter 81, Section 2 for the purpose of retiring water rights along the Pecos river basin and taking other appropriate actions that would effectively aid New Mexico in compliance with the United States supreme court amended decree in Texas v. New Mexico, No. 65 original,".

2. On page 2, line 2, strike "shall be extended".



3. On page 2, line 12, strike "are" and insert in lieu thereof "is".,



and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
