SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1___ to HOUSE EDUCATION COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR HOUSE BILL 28, as amended

Amendment sponsored by Senator Leonard Tsosie

1. On page 1, line 13, before the period insert "; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY".

2. On page 8, line 6, before "to" insert "and two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund".

3. On page 8, between lines 13 and 14, insert the following new section:

"Section 13. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.".
