SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
House Bill 543 appropriates $100.0 to New Mexico State University (NMSU) to enhance Four-H Programs in San Miguel and Mora Counties.
Significant Issues
The programs provided by Four-H include a school enrichment program and extensive youth leadership training. This appropriation would enable the Cooperative Extension Service to increase the number of youth served by Four-H in San Miguel and Mora counties.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The appropriation of $100.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY02 shall revert to the general fund.
