SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
HB 377 requires the Secretary of Health to conduct quality assurance and quality improvement activities. The bill authorizes the Department of Health to request and inspect, while maintaining state and federal confidentiality requirements, copies of medical and clinical records required for the Department's quality assurance and quality improvement activities and mortality review activities.
