Synopsis of Bill
Senate Bill 250 amends Section 1-6-6 NMSA 1978 to require county clerks to have an updated absentee ballot register available for public inspection Monday through Friday during regular office hours.
Significant Issues
Currently statute provides that for each election, the county clerk must keep an absentee ballot register and the information that register must contain. This bill adds the provision explained above.

The bill does not contain an appropriation or have any significant fiscal impact.
