House Memorial 5 requests the President of the United States to appoint Mr. Tom Baca as Assistant Secretary for Environmental Management.
Significant Issues
This memorial requests that Mr. Tom Baca be appointed as the U.S. Assistant Secretary for Environmental Management because of the importance of the Department of Energy facilities and functions in New Mexico, because the Department of Energy manages the largest environmental program, because nuclear environmental and related safety programs directly impact New Mexico, and because of Mr. Baca's successful environmental, nuclear and safety experience in New Mexico and throughout the country.
