REQUESTED BY

FOR SENATE DISTRICT 32 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF ROSWELL IN

CHAVES COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state agency on aging

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to plan, design and construct an addition to the adult center in Roswell in Chaves county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to continue phase 2 expansion and improvements to the Hondo River trail project in Roswell in Chaves county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan and design an indoor multipurpose recreation center at the Cielo Grande recreation park in Roswell in Chaves county;

one million dollars ($1,000,000) to plan, design and construct a special event and multipurpose field area at the Cielo Grande recreation park in Roswell in Chaves county;

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to plan, design and construct improvements to the industrial air center runway project in Roswell in Chaves county;

three hundred sixty thousand dollars ($360,000) to plan, design, construct and equip a new southeast New Mexico historical archives building in Roswell in Chaves county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to renovate, improve and expand the Roswell museum and art center in Roswell in Chaves county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to purchase and install playground equipment at various local parks to comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 in Roswell in Chaves county;

eighty-five thousand dollars ($85,000) to renovate and expand parks and recreation administration offices located at Cahoon park in Roswell in Chaves county;

two hundred sixty-six thousand dollars ($266,000) to plan, design, construct and equip a new kitchen and locker room facility and make other related improvements to the boys' and girls' club in Roswell in Chaves county;

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to plan, design and construct improvements and purchase equipment for the Unity center in Roswell in Chaves county;

one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) to plan, design and construct improvements and purchase equipment for the Spring River park and zoo in Roswell in Chaves county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to renovate, equip and landscape the Spring River golf course in Roswell in Chaves county;

seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) to renovate and equip the Cahoon park swimming pool in Roswell in Chaves county;

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to plan, design and construct a family aquatic center in Roswell in Chaves county;

one hundred five thousand dollars ($105,000) to renovate and equip the Yucca recreation center in Roswell in Chaves county; and

three hundred sixty thousand dollars ($360,000) to continue with phase 4 improvements to the Cielo Grande soccer complex in Roswell in Chaves county.
