REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT THE SIERRA FLOOD DISTRICT IN SIERRA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the office of the state engineer

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to purchase a four-wheel drive pickup truck for the Sierra flood district in Sierra county;

seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,0dfsd00) for flood plain studies, including watershed modeling and flood hydrographs, of the Cuchillo Negro, Palomas and Las Animas creeks in the Sierra flood district in Sierra county; and

six hundred seventy-eight thousand eight hundred forty dollars ($678,840) to restore the lower Cuchillo creek levee, including brush and sediment removal, grading and seeding, for the Sierra flood district in Sierra county.
