SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 601

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR WATER-RELATED CAPITAL PROJECTS IN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the department of environment

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) for siphon installation and other improvements to the El Ranchito water system in Ribera in San Miguel county;

seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) to purchase and install meters, valves and a pump and to make other related improvements to the La Pasada mutual domestic water consumers association water system in Pecos in San Miguel county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for a new electric pump, water lines, fire hydrants and shut-off valves and other related improvements to the Los Sisneros community well in Anton Chico in San Miguel county; and

to the office of the state engineer

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for a hydrological study to develop a plan to address the quantitative water resource available in Las Vegas in San Miguel county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for water improvements to the water system of the Los Trigos ditch association in Ribera in San Miguel county.
