REQUESTED BY

FOR A REAUTHORIZATION TO CHANGE THE PURPOSE AND AGENCY OF A SEVERANCE TAX BOND APPROPRIATION AND A GENERAL FUND APPROPRIATION TO PLAN, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT A YOUTH CENTER IN CHIMAYO IN RIO ARRIBA COUNTY.

The proceeds from the sale of severance tax bonds appropriated to the state department of public education pursuant to Subsection FFFF of Section 16 of Chapter 23 of Laws 2000 (2nd S.S.) to construct, equip and furnish a multipurpose classroom facility for Chimayo elementary school in the Espanola public school district in Rio Arriba county shall not be expended for the original purpose but are reauthorized and appropriated to the local government division of the department of finance and administration to plan, design and construct a youth center in Chimayo in Rio Arriba county.

The balance of the general fund appropriation to the state department of public education pursuant to Subsection LL of Section 45 of Chapter 23 of Laws 2000 (2nd S.S.) to construct, equip and furnish a multipurpose classroom facility for Chimayo elementary school in the Espanola public school district in Rio Arriba county shall not be expended for the original purpose but is appropriated to the local government division of the department of finance and administration to plan, design and construct a youth center in Chimayo in Rio Arriba county.
