REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN CARLSBAD IN EDDY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the department of environment

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to design and construct phase 3 of the wastewater effluent reuse project in Carlsbad in Eddy county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for site selection, design and engineering of the Carlsbad sports complex in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

two hundred sixty-six thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($266,250) to design, engineer, construct and equip a skate and hockey complex in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for asbestos remediation of the old regional medical center in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for improvements to the Pecos river village conference center in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to renovate parks and playground equipment in Carlsbad in Eddy county; and

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to renovate and repair the Walter Gerrells civic center in Carlsbad in Eddy county.
