REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN EDDY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the department of environment

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for phase 1 of the Riverside water system improvements in Eddy county;

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

sixty-one thousand seven hundred fifty-three dollars ($61,753) to construct, equip and furnish a police station and sally port addition to the municipal building in Hope in Eddy county;

four hundred seventy-eight thousand dollars ($478,000) for repairs and improvements to the sheriff's posse arena in Eddy county; and

sixty-one thousand seven hundred seventy-five dollars ($61,775) for outdoor recreation improvements at the Otis community center in Eddy county; and

to the board of regents of New Mexico state university

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for the Hackberry watershed flood control project in the Carlsbad soil and water conservation district in Eddy county;

seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) for improvements to the Carlsbad soil and water conservation district building in Carlsbad in Eddy county; and

one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) for improvements to the Hope pipeline project for the Hope community ditch association of the Penasco soil and water conservation district in Hope in Eddy county.
