AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE OFFICE OF ARCHAEOLOGICAL STUDIES IN THE OFFICE OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand four hundred ninety dollars ($150,490) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to pay for operational expenses of the office of archaeological studies. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
