AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO PLAN, DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT AN EXPANSION AND RENOVATION OF A STATE POLICE FIELD STATION IN DONA ANA COUNTY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of public safety for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to plan, design and construct an expansion and renovation of a state police field station located on University avenue in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
