Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. Strike Senate Public Affairs Committee Amendment 4.

2. On page 23, line 3, strike the first occurrence of "The" and insert in lieu thereof "Effective October 1, 2001, the".

3. On page 24, strike lines 16 through 20 and insert in lieu thereof the following subsection:

"B. Effective October 1, 2001, for the medicaid category designated "JUL medicaid" by the department, the income eligibility criteria shall be the same as the income eligibility criteria set forth in the New Mexico Works Act."".
