SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number __2____ to HOUSE BILL 997

Amendment sponsored by Senator Cynthia Nava

1. On page 4, between lines 22 and 23, insert the following subsection:

"C. four million dollars ($4,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund for the state equalization guarantee distribution for enrollment growth. The appropriation is contingent on House Bill 23 or similar legislation of the first session of the forty-fifth legislature becoming law;".

2. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.
