Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 775

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 2, line 14, after "PROPERTY" insert "--EXCEPTION".

2. On page 2, line 14, before "Inventions" insert the subsection designation "A.".

3. On page 2, line 16, after "employee" insert ", except an employee of a state educational institution,".

4. On page 2, line 18, delete the closing quotation mark.

5. On page 2, between lines 18 and 19, insert the following subsection:

"B. The provisions of Subsection A of this section do not apply to a state employee employed by a state educational institution designated in Article 12, Section 11 of the constitution of New Mexico."",

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
