Your CONSUMER AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
HOUSE BILL 750
has had it under consideration and reports same WITHOUT RECOMMENDATION, amended as follows:
1. On page 5, line 7, after "CONSENT" insert "--RULEMAKING".
2. On page 5, line 25, strike "by prior and informed affirmative consent".
3. On page 6, strike the reminder of line 1 after the period, strike all of lines 2 and 3 and insert in lieu thereof:
"After conducting a rulemaking proceeding, the attorney general shall adopt rules to determine the requirements for obtaining a consumer's authorization for disclosing personal and sensitive information, and the requirements may vary depending on the type of information to be disclosed.".,
and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
