Your TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 743

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 11, line 18, after "to" insert a colon and remove the brackets and line through the paragraph designation (1).

2. On page 11, line 21, after "Code" strike the remainder of the line and insert in lieu thereof "; or".

3. On page 11, strike all of lines 22 through 24 and insert in lieu thereof:

"(2) the use of construction material.".

4. On page 17, between lines 7 and 8, insert the following new section:

"Section 7. EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the provisions of this act is July 1, 2001.".,

and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE.
