MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES FOR EXTENDED LEARNING SITES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO BRANCH AT LOS ALAMOS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty-four thousand dollars ($54,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 for the Los Alamos branch to fund student support services for students attending classes at extended learning sites located in Bernalillo, the Jemez valley, Cuba and the Pueblos of San Felipe and Santa Ana in Sandoval county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
