MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR PHASE TWO OF THE MAGISTRATE COURT SECURITY AND VIDEO CONFERENCING PROJECT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million one hundred forty-nine thousand dollars ($3,149,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the administrative office of the courts for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 for phase two of the magistrate court security and video conferencing project, including salaries and benefits, travel, contractual services, supplies and materials and purchase of video conferencing and computer equipment. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
