MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR THE WEMAGINATION CENTER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred sixty-five thousand dollars ($165,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 for staff and operations of the wemagination center of the family development program for the collection and distribution of recycled materials and for statewide training and support to teachers and parents in creative, educational uses of recycled materials. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
