AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTINUE THE ERRORS AND OMISSIONS PROCESS IN WATER RIGHT ADJUDICATIONS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to continue contracting for services to identify errors and omissions in the adjudications involving the Rio Santa Cruz-Rio Truchas, Rio Chama and Rio Pueblo de Taos-Rio Hondo stream systems. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
