MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY TO IMPROVE LIGHTING AND ESCORT SERVICES AT THE UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-three thousand three hundred dollars ($73,300) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents at eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to improve lighting and escort services at the university. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
