Your TAXATION AND REVENUE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 154

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 17, line 4, strike "or" and insert in lieu thereof ", Laboratory Partnership with Small Business Tax Credit Act, Technology Jobs Tax Credit Act,".

2. On page 17, line 5, after "Act" insert "or similar act".

3. On page 17, line 6, after "1978" insert "or similar credit".

4. On page 30, between lines 7 and 8, insert the following new sections:

"Section 10. TEMPORARY PROVISION--TRANSITION.--Sections 6 through 8 of this act apply to assessments made on or after the effective date of this act.

Section 11. EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the provisions of this act is July 1, 2001.".
