SUMMARY

Synopsis of Bill

Senate Memorial 4 requests the Department of Health, Attorney General and Board of Pharmacy investigate the activities of Wyeth home products in its failure to warn clients of the dangers of the drugs Fen-Phen/Redux and urge all individuals who may have been harmed by these drugs to participate in the class action suit before the March 30, 2000 deadline.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

The memorial would require the AG, DOH and Pharmacy Board to expend funds and personnel resources for the purposes of the memorial.
