SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
Senate Memorial 21 extends the congratulations of the New Mexico Senate to a noble New Mexican, James Raymond Toulouse, as he approaches his eighty-first birthday on April 14, 2000. Mr. Toulouse attended the University of New Mexico, graduating in 1940. He became the sports editor for the Albuquerque Tribune and married Charlotte Mae Johnson on August 31, 1941. After serving in the Navy during World War II, he graduated from law school in 1949 and was admitted to the practice of law in New Mexico that same year. The memorial cites other things special to Mr. Toulouse over the years. It notes that he practices all sorts of law, is well known for the amount of pro bono work he has always done and that he is still practicing law.
