HJM 21 requests the Department of Agriculture and the soil and water conservation districts to implement a noxious weed program to protect New Mexico's environment and economy.
Significant Issues
The CHE reports the 1998 legislature enacted the Noxious Weed Act and provided an $85.0 appropriation to begin a noxious weed program.
RELATIONSHIP
House Bill 213 proposes to appropriate $500.0 to implement the program.
