Synopsis of HJC Amendment
The House Judiciary Committee amendment clarifies language by substituting the term "dispositions" for the term "penalties." The amendment also substitutes the phrase "children's court judges" for "municipal and magistrate courts."
Synopsis of Bill
House Joint Memorial 20 resolves that the Juvenile Drug Court programs in the Second and Third Judicial District Courts shall report to the Courts, Corrections and Criminal Justice committee the level of community involvement in the programs, the numbers of graduates from the programs, and the costs of administering the programs.
