SUMMARY
Synopsis of Bill
This bill amends the lottery tuition scholarship program modifying the current law by providing that students who begin a specified term of religious missionary service or complete service with the U.S. armed forces are eligible for the award.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The CHE cautions when adding additional groups of students to the program because, given the projected number of eligible students under current law and anticipated transfers from the Lottery, future scholarship expenditures outpace revenues.
