Synopsis of Amendment
The amendment adds $60.0 and 1 FTE for a general counsel position.
Synopsis of Bill
This bill establishes the LFC recommendation for the FY2001 appropriation for the New Mexico State Fair (Fair). The Fair's operating budget is established through revenues the Fair derives from admission fees, concessions, parking, horse racing, carnival, lease of facilities, gaming, and other self-generated sources from other events. The appropriation includes approximately $500.0 in revenues from gaming.
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
The budget established in this bill increases the authorized FTE by 7.5 from the current operating level to account for the actual number of authorized positions needed by the Fair.

This bill relates to House Bill 2 and Senate Bill 2.
