SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 466

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR WATER-RELATED IMPROVEMENTS IN SENATE DISTRICT 39.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the department of environment

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to improve the water system in Rowe in San Miguel county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for improvements to the Estancia water system in Torrance county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to improve the water system in Manzano in Torrance county;

sixty-four thousand dollars ($64,000) to improve the water system in La Bajada in Santa Fe county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for improvements to the water system in Moriarty in Torrance county;

one hundred sixty-seven thousand six hundred dollars ($167,600) to purchase water meters and pay off a loan for Pecos in San Miguel county;

eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) to improve the water system in Galisteo in Santa Fe county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to improve and upgrade the Gonzales Ranch water tank in San Miguel county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) for improvements to the water system in Villanueva in San Miguel county;

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to improve and upgrade the Sacatosa water pump in San Miguel county; and

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to drill a well and purchase a water pump for the town of Aurora in San Miguel county; and

to the office of the state engineer

five thousand dollars ($5,000) to improve the ditch in San Miguel in San Miguel county;

fifty-six thousand dollars ($56,000) for improvements to the irrigation pond in La Cienega in Santa Fe county; and

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to make improvements to the acequia in Pueblo in San Miguel county.
