SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 365

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN SENATE DISTRICT 34 IN LEA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for phase 2 construction of the livestock pavilion at the fairgrounds in Lea county;

two hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($225,000) to purchase and install necessary security equipment for the county courthouse, judges', clerks' and district attorneys' offices in Lea county; and

one million dollars ($1,000,000) for construction and expansion of the county events center, to include a kitchen storage room, banquet and meeting rooms in Lea county.
