SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 361

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE CITY OF CARLSBAD IN EDDY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the department of environment

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to design and construct phase 3 of the wastewater effluent reuse project in Carlsbad in Eddy county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to construct a shelter at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. park in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to improve facilities at little league ball fields in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for capital improvements to the Pecos River Village conference center in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for repairs at the Carlsbad municipal golf course in Eddy county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to design and construct phase 3 of the Lake Carlsbad erosion control project in Eddy county;

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to repair and renovate Lake Carlsbad facilities in Carlsbad in Eddy county; and

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for improvements at the Lake Carlsbad bicentennial bandshell in Carlsbad in Eddy county.
