44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TO THE BELEN HIGH SCHOOL IN THE BELEN

CONSOLIDATED SCHOOL DISTRICT IN VALENCIA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state department of public education

three hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($375,000) to purchase and install new bleachers on the home side of the football stadium at the high school in the Belen consolidated school district in Valencia county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to repair the tennis courts at the high school in the Belen consolidated school district in Valencia county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to repair the damage to the swimming pool at the high school in the Belen consolidated school district in Valencia county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) for expansion of the field house at the high school in the Belen consolidated school district in Valencia county;

one hundred thirty-five thousand dollars ($135,000) for phase 2 of the weight room expansion project at the high school in the Belen consolidated school district in Valencia county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to construct a press box at the high school football field in the Belen consolidated school district in Valencia county; and

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to improve the baseball and softball fields at the high school in the Belen consolidated school district in Valencia county.
