SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 40

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2000

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE RIO RANCHO PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN

SANDOVAL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state department of public education

two hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($275,000) to remodel Rio Rancho elementary school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county;

seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for an astronomy out-building, telescope pads, an access road and patio at Rio Rancho high school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county; and

six thousand dollars ($6,000) to purchase printers for the computer laboratory at Martin Luther King, Jr. elementary school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county.
